If your G2 glasses have connected to the Even Realities App before, but the app now detects them without being able to connect, follow the steps below.
-
Check the app and phone settings.
- Update the Even Realities App to the latest version.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Make sure the app has the necessary permissions.
- Confirm that the app can detect the glasses.
Check the touchpads and display. Double-tap the touchpads on both temples to check whether the glasses wake up. Swipe to check the touch controls. You may press and hold both touchpads for 1 second to check Silent Mode.
Remove interference from previous phones. If the glasses wake up normally, forget their pairing record on any previously connected phone and keep that phone away from the glasses. Try connecting with your current phone.
-
Restart the glasses if they cannot wake up.
Restart the glasses using one of these methods:
- Touchpads: Rapidly tap the touchpads on both temples five times. A prompt sound indicates that the glasses have restarted.
- Charging case: Place the glasses correctly in the case and connect the case to power. Rapidly unplug and reconnect the power cable to the case three times within 7 seconds. Alternating white and orange flashes indicate a successful restart.
Try connecting again and check whether the display wakes up.
If the issue persists, please contact us with the following information so we can investigate:
- The troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
- The serial number (SN) of your G2 glasses.
- A screenshot of the connection result in the app.
- Upload the app logs and include the approximate time when the issue occurred. Follow How To Upload Logs.
- If the glasses cannot wake up or have no display, please send a video showing the display issue.
- Whether other Bluetooth devices may be causing interference, or whether your phone is far from the glasses.
