The Even Realities App Cannot Find G2 Glasses That Were Connected Before

If the Even Realities App cannot find your G2 glasses after they have been connected before, follow these steps.

  1. Check charging. Connect the case to power, place the glasses inside, and charge them for 10 minutes. Check whether the indicator turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off automatically.

  2. Check the touchpads and display. After charging, remove the glasses and put them on. Double-tap the touchpads on both temples to check whether the display wakes up. Swipe on the touchpads to check that the controls work. You may also press and hold both touchpads for 1 second to check Silent Mode.

  3. If the glasses cannot wake up, restart them.

    Restart the glasses using one of these methods:

    • Touchpads: Rapidly tap the touchpads on both temples five times. A prompt sound indicates that the glasses have restarted.
    • Charging case: Place the glasses correctly in the case and connect the case to power. Rapidly unplug and reconnect the power cable to the case three times within 7 seconds. Alternating white and orange flashes indicate a successful restart.

    Then check whether they wake up and can be found and connected in the app.

  4. Remove old pairing records. If the glasses can wake up, forget their Bluetooth pairing record on the previously connected phone. If they were connected to another phone, forget them on that phone and turn off its Bluetooth. Try connecting with your current phone again.

  5. Check the Bluetooth signal. If charging, the touchpads, and the display work normally but the glasses still cannot be detected, download the nRF Connect app and scan for the glasses’ Bluetooth signal to check whether it can be detected.
