The G2 Display Flickers

If the display area on your G2 glasses flickers, check the following before troubleshooting:

  • The glasses have more than 50% battery.
  • The Even Realities App and glasses firmware are up to date.
  • The glasses remain connected to the app.
  • Wear detection is turned off.

Once these conditions are met, follow the steps below:

  1. Check whether the display flickers rapidly and continuously, or only occasionally or at regular intervals.
  2. If the flickering is occasional or periodic, restart the glasses by rapidly tapping the touchpads on both temples five times, then check whether the issue persists.

If the display flickers rapidly and continuously, or the issue persists after restarting, please contact us with:

  • A video showing the flickering.
  • Photos showing both temples in the folded and unfolded positions. Refer to How to Take Photos of Your G2 Temples for Troubleshooting.
  • The serial number (SN) of your glasses.
  • Device logs uploaded after the issue occurs again while the glasses are connected to the Even Realities App. Follow How To Upload Logs.
  • The date and time when the issue occurred.
