If your G2 display shows green lines, green blocks, garbled content, or dead pixels, check the following before troubleshooting:
- The glasses have more than 50% battery.
- The Even Realities App and glasses firmware are up to date.
- The glasses remain connected to the app.
- Wear detection is turned off.
Once these conditions are met, restart the glasses using one of the methods below, then check whether the display issue is resolved. Use the charging case if you have it with you.
Using the charging case: Place the glasses correctly in the charging case and make sure the charging contacts connect properly. With the case's charging cable connected to a power source, rapidly unplug and reconnect the cable at the case three times within 7 seconds. Alternating white and orange flashes on the case indicator mean the glasses have restarted. Remove the glasses, reconnect them, and check the display.
Without the charging case: Double-tap the touchpad to wake the glasses, then rapidly tap the touchpads on both temples five times to restart them. Make sure you tap both sides. A prompt sound indicates that the glasses have restarted.
If restarting does not resolve the issue, please contact us with:
- The serial number (SN) of your glasses.
- Device logs uploaded through the Even Realities App while the glasses are connected, after the issue occurs. Follow How To Upload Logs.
- A video and photos showing the display issue.
- Photos showing both temples in the folded and unfolded positions. Refer to How to Take Photos of Your G2 Temples for Troubleshooting.
- The date and time when the issue occurred.
