When Wear Detection is on, your Even G2 displays content only while you are wearing the glasses. A tone plays when the glasses detect that you have put them on.
When you take off the glasses, the display turns off automatically. Any active features continue running. For example, if you take off the glasses while using Translate, Translate continues running and its content reappears when you put the glasses back on.
When Wear Detection is on and the glasses are not being worn, tapping or pressing and holding the TouchPad, as well as voice wake-up, will not wake the display or trigger an action. You can still start supported features, such as Translate, from the Even Realities App. Their content will appear after you put the glasses back on.
Turn Wear Detection on or off
- In the Even Realities App, tap My Devices.
- Tap the Wear Detection switch to turn the feature on or off.
