Start from the Even Realities App
- Open Conversate in the Even Realities App.
- To use Prep Notes, select the Prep Note for this conversation. Skip this step if you do not need one or none are available.
- Tap the language and translation button, then configure the settings as needed:

- When Real-time translation is turned on, select the source and target languages.
- Tap Start.
Start from the glasses menu
- Open Menu on the glasses.
- Swipe to Conversate.
- Single-tap the TouchPad to start.
If you have created Prep Notes, you can select one before starting the conversation. If you do not need one, select Skip & Start.
Start with Even AI
Activate Even AI with a command such as:
“Hey Even, start Conversate.”
Conversate will start using the currently configured language and voice input device.
View AI Cues
While Conversate is running, G2 continuously analyzes the conversation and generates contextual AI Cues, including:
- Concepts: Explains technical terms or potentially unfamiliar concepts mentioned in the conversation.
- Bios: Provides information about people mentioned in the conversation and their relevant backgrounds.
- Answers: Identifies questions and provides suggested answers or relevant facts based on the conversation.
- Suggestions: Recommends follow-up topics, action plans, or communication strategies.
You can adjust how AI Cues appear under Conversate settings:
- Auto pop-up: When enabled, new AI Cues automatically expand on the glasses.
- Cue duration: Controls how long an AI Cue remains displayed on the glasses.
When Auto pop-up is turned off, new AI Cues do not expand automatically. When an AI Cue appears, single-tap the TouchPad to view its details.
Use Prep Notes to prepare for conversations
Before starting a conversation, you can add background information through Prep Notes. This gives AI more context and helps it generate more accurate AI Cues.
Prep Notes can also serve as reference material during a conversation. Expand the selected Prep Note on your glasses whenever you need to review your prepared talking points. Only one Prep Note can be loaded for each conversation.
Create and edit Prep Notes
Open Conversate in the Even Realities App, then create a new Prep Note from the Prep notes section. You can add content in either of the following ways:
- Enter background information, questions, or talking points in the text box. Each Prep Note supports up to 5,000 characters.
- Upload PDF, DOCX, or TXT files. The system will automatically generate a Prep Note based on their content. Each file can be up to 5 MB, and each Prep Note can contain up to five files. If a file exceeds 5 MB, split it into multiple files smaller than 5 MB before uploading.
You can edit or delete existing Prep Notes. Each account can store up to 100 Prep Notes.
Use Real-time translation
Conversate can translate conversations into your selected target language in real time, helping you understand conversations in other languages.
Before starting a conversation:
- In the App, tap the language button at the bottom of the Conversate page.
- Turn on Real-time translation.
- Under From, select the language being spoken, or select Auto-detected to identify it automatically.
- Under To, select the target language.
- Tap Confirm to save the settings, then start Conversate.
Once enabled, G2 translates recognized speech into the target language. Both the original text and its translation are saved in the Transcription section of the session.
To view translations on the glasses, go to Conversate settings > Glasses interface and turn on Live transcription. The glasses display translations only in the configured input language → output language direction. They do not display translations in the reverse direction.
Real-time translation in Conversate supports different languages for speech input and text output. See languages supported by Conversate.
Pause or end Conversate
You can control the current session from the Even Realities App:
- Tap Pause to pause Conversate, including transcription and AI Cues.
- Tap Resume to continue the session.
- Tap End to end the session.
You can also end the current session by double-tapping the TouchPad on the glasses or R1 while Conversate is running.
Review past sessions
After you end Conversate, the session is saved to your history in the Even Realities App with an automatically generated title. Open a saved session to view its Summary, Cue List, and Transcription.
Search past sessions
Use search in Conversate history to find sessions by title or content. You can also search sessions stored locally on your phone when your phone is offline.
Review the Summary
The Summary organizes the session into four sections:
- Overview: Provides a quick description of the main topics and outcomes.
- Highlights: Lists the most important conclusions from the conversation.
- Details: Provides a more complete account of the discussion. You can jump from information in this section to the corresponding content in the Transcription.
- Next Steps: Lists unresolved items and follow-up actions identified from the conversation. You can add all listed action items to QuickList or remove them all with one tap.
Review the Cue List
Cue List contains the AI Cues generated during the session. You can:
- Search within the Cue List.
- Sort cues by time or alphabetically.
- Jump from a cue to the corresponding content in the Transcription.
Review the Transcription
Transcription contains the full written record of the conversation. If Real-time translation was enabled, it includes both the recognized speech and its translation.
Export or share a session
You can export or share a saved session as a PDF, Word (DOCX), or TXT file.
Adjust voice input and glasses display
Select a voice input device
Open settings from the upper-right corner of Conversate, then select a device under Voice Input:
- Glasses Mic: Uses the glasses' microphones to capture audio.
- Phone Mic: Uses the phone's microphone to capture audio. When using it for the first time, allow the Even Realities App to access your phone's microphone.
