Function Introduction:
You can use the glasses for navigation while walking or cycling. Real-time turn-by-turn directions, distances, and street names are displayed in your field of view to guide you along unfamiliar routes. Please note: To ensure safety, it is not recommended to use this feature while riding motorcycles or driving motor vehicles.
Launching Navigate
Launch from the App
- Find the "Navigate" function in the app, tap to enter, and then search for an address to start navigation. This is the most direct way and is ideal for planning new routes.
- You can also save frequently used addresses as favorites.
Launch from the "Menu"
You can quickly launch "Navigate" using your Even G2 and Even R1 devices:
- Long-press the TouchPad on the ring or glasses temple to open the main "Menu".
- Swipe up or down to select the Navigate, then tap to confirm and launch it.
- After launching, your favorite addresses saved in the app will appear in the "Menu". Swipe to select your desired destination and tap again to start navigation.
Note: Launching "Navigate" via the "Menu" only allows you to select from your pre-saved favorite destinations.
If you need to navigate to a new location, please use the precise search in the Even App or ask "Even AI" with a voice command, such as: “Navigate to [address].”
Map Display
During navigation, you can switch between the Mini Map and Full Map display modes at any time.
- Toggle Method: A single tap on the ring or glasses TouchPad switches between the two modes.
Difference Between Display Modes
Mini Map:
- The map rotates to keep the direction you are facing always at the top of the screen.
- This "Heads-Up" orientation makes it easy to intuitively follow your forward direction.
Full Map:
- The map remains fixed with North-Up.
- Your position arrow rotates as you change orientation.
- This view provides a better overview of your surroundings and the general direction.
About Navigation Arrow Direction
- Even G2: The arrow points in the direction your glasses are facing.
- Even App: The arrow points in the direction your phone is facing.
Important Note
For both the Mini Map and Full Map to display correctly, the Even App must be running in the foreground and the phone screen must remain unlocked.
When your phone is locked or the Even app is in the background, within the currently cached area, guidance information and road networks will display normally. If you move beyond the cached area, the navigation arrow and turn-by-turn instructions will still be shown, but the road network information for the new location will not refresh.
