QuickNote

QuickNote offers a convenient way to create and manage memos. You can capture important details, ideas, and other key information anytime using your G2 or the Even Realities App, then review your notes on G2 or in the App.

Create a new note

In the App

1. On the Home page of the Even Realities App, open QuickNote.
2. Tap Add note.
3. Enter a title and the note content.

On your glasses

1. Open Menu on your glasses.
2. Swipe to QuickNote, then single-tap the TouchPad.
3. Select Create new note at the top of the note list.
4. On the New note page, press and hold the TouchPad on your glasses or R1 while speaking.
5. Release the TouchPad to stop recording. Your speech is automatically transcribed into a paragraph. You can press and hold again to add more content. Each recording is added as a separate paragraph.
6. Double-tap the TouchPad to open the exit prompt. Choose Save to save the note and exit, Discard to exit without saving, or Cancel to return to the note.

When you save a note created on the glasses, QuickNote automatically generates a title based on its content.

To undo the most recent paragraph, open the QuickNote menu and select Undo last input. 

You can also open QuickNote through Even AI, then select Create new note and follow the same recording steps.

View notes on your glasses

From the QuickNote Feature in Menu

Open QuickNote from Menu on your glasses. Your saved notes appear below Create new note. Select a note to view its content.

The QuickNote menu includes these controls:

• Display off: Turns off the glasses' display. Double-tap the TouchPad to return to the note details.
• Brightness: Adjusts the glasses' display brightness.
• Close: Exits QuickNote.

From the QuickNote Widget on Dashboard

First, add the widget in the Even Realities App: go to Dashboard > Widgets > Add widget to add QuickNote widget.

1. On the glasses, swipe through Dashboard widgets to QuickNote.
2. Single-tap the TouchPad to expand the note list.
3. Swipe to the note you want to read.
4. Single-tap the TouchPad to open it.
5. Double-tap the TouchPad to return to the note list.

Manage notes

Open QuickNote in the Even Realities App to manage your saved notes.

Edit a note

Tap a note to open it, then edit its title or content.

Pin a note

You can pin a note to the top of the list in either of these ways:

1. Open the note and tap the pin icon beside its title.
   
    
2. Press and hold the note in the list, then select Pin to top.
   

To unpin a note, tap its pin icon again, or press and hold it in the list and choose the option to unpin it.

Sort notes

Tap the sorting control in the upper-right corner of the QuickNote list. It shows the current option, such as Date Updated. Choose one of the following:

• Date Created: Sorts notes by when they were created.
• Date Updated: Sorts notes by when they were last updated.
• Title Name: Sorts notes by title.

Tap the order button beside the sorting control to switch between ascending and descending order.

Delete notes

You can delete a note in either of these ways:

1. Open the note, tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner, and select Delete.
   
    
2. Press and hold the note in the list, then select Delete.
   

To delete multiple notes:

1. Press and hold a note in the list.
2. Select Select.
3. Choose the notes you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete.
