If the dock indicator stays on or flashes when R1 is placed on it, follow these steps.
Connect the empty dock to a 5V power adapter. Check whether the indicator turns white for about 3 seconds and then turns off.
If it does, wait for 5 seconds and place the ring on the dock in the correct orientation. Check for the same 3-second indicator behavior and whether the app shows normal charging.
If the orange indicator stays on or flashes and the ring cannot connect to the app, use nRF Connect to scan for the ring’s Bluetooth name.
If the issue persists, please contact us with the following information so we can investigate:
- The troubleshooting steps you have already tried.
- The serial number (SN) of your R1 ring.
- Photos of the inner and outer sides of your R1 ring. The inner-side photo should show the area over the battery. Refer to How to Take Photos of Your R1 Ring for Troubleshooting.
