If the Even Realities App cannot find your R1 ring during first pairing, follow these steps.
Check the power adapter. Make sure your power adapter works normally.
-
Activate the ring. Connect the empty dock to power. Check whether the indicator turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off. Place the ring correctly on the dock and charge it for 10 seconds. The indicator should turn on for another 3 seconds and then turn off, showing that the ring has been detected. Try connecting again.
Charge and restart the ring. Charge it for 10 minutes. Quickly tap the touch area five times to restart the ring, then try connecting again.
Check the Bluetooth signal. Download nRF Connect and check whether it can detect the R1 ring’s Bluetooth signal.
Drain the battery. Leave the ring unused for 3 days to drain the battery completely. You may place a wet tissue on the touch area to speed up the drain. Charge the ring for 10 minutes, then try connecting again.
