Problem Description
The display is incomplete during normal use; the lower portion of the screen appears cut off.
Guidance
Step 1: Check if the glasses are properly positioned
- For the correct wearing position of Even G2 A.
- For the correct wearing position of Even G2 B.
- When viewed from the front, the top edge of the frame should be slightly below the eyebrows; when viewed from the side, the temples should rest comfortably against your head.
Step 2: Adjust the nosepad arms
The height of the nosepad arms directly affects the position of the display. Please adjust them according to your current wearing position by referring to the images below.
Situation A: The bottom of the screen is not fully displayed or is darker than usual.
- If the upper edge of the frame is higher than the eyebrows, the nose pads may be too high. Follow the steps in the image below to push the nose pads to the sides to lower the overall position of the glasses.
- If the upper edge of the frame is not higher than the eyebrows, but the frame is very close to the face, it may be due to the nose pads being positioned too high. Similarly, you can push the nose pads to the sides as shown in the picture.
Situation B: The top of the screen is not fully displayed or is darker than usual.
- If the upper edge of the glasses frame is significantly lower than the eyebrows, the nose pad support may be positioned too low. You will need to follow the steps shown in the image below to bring the nose pad towards the center.
A well-adjusted fit should place the upper edge of the frame slightly below the eyebrows. You may need to adjust the nosepad arms multiple times to achieve the optimal position.
Step 3: Remove the glasses and adjust the screen height via the Even Realities App
If there is still a loss of image even when the glasses are worn in the correct position, you can use the Even Realities App to adjust the image height.
Ensure the glasses are connected to the Even Realities App. Open the display settings to view the default screen height.
- If the lower part of the screen is cut off, increase the display height to its maximum in the Even Realities App.
- If the upper part of the screen is cut off, decrease the display height to its minimum in the Even Realities App.
Note: When adjusting your glasses, please do not pull the temples up and down. This will not only reduce the stability of the temples but may also damage electronic components, which will void your warranty.
After making the adjustment, check if you can see the complete picture. If the picture is still incomplete, make a fine adjustment to the nose pad bracket based on the current picture obstruction.
