You can customize the long-press gesture on Even G2 or Even R1 to quickly access the actions and features you use most. You can choose different actions for your glasses and ring.
Long-press customization is supported in version 2.3.2 and later of the Even Realities App, G2 firmware, and R1 firmware.
Set up a long-press action
In the Even Realities App, go to Settings > Gesture Customization > Long-press.
On your glasses
- Select Glasses.
- Tap Custom Touchpad and choose Left or Right.
- Tap Custom Long-press and choose an action.
- Tap Done.
You can customize the long-press action on one TouchPad. The other TouchPad keeps its normal long-press controls for the feature you are using.
To disable long-press customization on your glasses, set Custom Touchpad to None.
On your ring
- Select Ring.
- Tap Custom Long-press and choose an action.
- Tap Done.
While a feature is running, a long press on R1 performs that feature's normal long-press action. It does not trigger your custom action.
By default, your custom long-press action on R1 works while Dashboard is active or the glasses' display is off. Turn "Enable while display is off?" off if you do not want R1 to trigger your custom action while the display is off.
