G2 Glasses Do Not Charge and the Case Indicator Keeps Flashing

If your G2 glasses do not charge normally and the charging case indicator keeps flashing, follow these steps.

  1. Check the charging case. Remove the glasses and connect the empty case to power. Check whether the indicator turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off automatically. This indicates that the case is charging normally.

  2. Check the charging contacts. Clean the contacts inside the case, then place the glasses correctly in the case. Check whether the indicator turns on for 3 seconds and then turns off automatically. Gently press down on the glasses and check the indicator again.

  3. Restart the glasses. Place the glasses correctly in the case and connect the case to power. Quickly unplug and reconnect the power cable to the case three times within 7 seconds. White and orange flashes indicate a successful restart. Check whether the issue persists.

  4. Try another power adapter. Check whether the issue occurs when using a different adapter.

  5. Check the charging pins. Confirm that all four charging pins inside the case can be pressed down and spring back up.

  • The troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

  • A short video showing:

    • The charging case connected to power without the glasses inside.
    • What happens when you place the glasses in the case.
    • If the orange indicator keeps flashing, what happens when you open the case and gently press down on both ends of the glasses with both hands.
    • What happens after you remove the glasses from the case.

  • The serial number (SN) of your glasses.
  • App logs. After the issue occurs while the glasses are connected to the Even Realities App, upload the logs through the app. Follow How To Upload Logs.
  • The date and time when the issue occurred.
  • Photos of the charging pins inside the case and the charging contacts on both temples.
  • Photos of both temples in the folded and unfolded positions. Refer to How to Take Photos of Your G2 Temples for Troubleshooting.
