Your ring monitors nightly temperature shifts relative to a personal baseline. These variations reflect recovery, stress, or illness, helping you detect subtle changes in your wellness before they escalate.
Worn on the fingertip, the ring is more affected by ambient temperature than conventional measurement sites. Even R1 focuses on accurate trends of relative temperature changes, helping identify abnormal fluctuations rather than providing absolute values.
Note:
Even R1 measures Temperature Variation, not your absolute temperature (like a fever thermometer would).
- 0 represents your personal baseline (your average nightly temperature).
- A negative number (e.g., -0.8) means your temperature was slightly lower than your average last night.
- A positive number would mean it was higher than your average.
We track it this way because, as mentioned in the app, temperature reflects your wellness and recovery. By focusing on these variances rather than just the total number, we can help you notice subtle shifts that might indicate fatigue, stress, or early illness before they escalate.
When the following conditions are met, the R1 ring will collect your temperature data and sync the variation to the Even Realities app and G2 glasses (If connected):
1. Wear the R1 ring correctly.
2. Enable Health Tracking in the Privacy settings in the Even Realities app.
3. Maintain a stable connection between the R1 ring and the Even Realities app, as well as the G2 glasses (if connected).
Data Collection and Sync:
1. Temperature data will be synced when the R1 ring successfully connects to the Even Realities app.
2. Sleep data will also be synced when you access the Health interface in the app.
3. Once the R1 ring detects that you are asleep, it begins collecting sleep and temperature data. Data collection stops when the ring detects that you are awake.
Note:
The R1 ring needs two nights of sleep data to collect your temperature data and establish your personal baseline. Starting from the third night, once the R1 ring detects that you are asleep, it will continue collecting your temperature data and sync it to the app, where your temperature variation will be calculated based on your personal baseline.
