If the firmware update on your G2 glasses fails after reaching 50%, please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot the issue:
Before troubleshooting, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
- Your phone is connected to a stable network.
- The Even Realities app remains open in the foreground throughout the update process.
- The app has been updated to the latest version.
Please then try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Quickly tap the touchpads on each temple of the glasses five times to restart the glasses. Once the glasses reconnect to the app, try updating the firmware again.
- Go to Device Information in the Even Realilties app and perform a Factory Reset.
Then, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and forget the pairing record of the glasses. After that, reconnect the glasses to the app and try updating the firmware again to check the result.
If the issue still persists, please provide the following information so that we can investigate further:
- The SN number of your glasses.
- Upload the logs through the app while the glasses are connected to the app and again after the issue occurs. How To Upload Logs
- The time when the issue occurred and the firmware update progress percentage after you retried the update.
