If the firmware update on your G2 glasses fails before reaching 50%, please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot the issue:
Before troubleshooting, please make sure that the following conditions are met:
- Your phone is connected to a stable network.
- The Even Realities app remains open in the foreground throughout the update process.
- The app has been updated to the latest version.
Please then try the following steps to check the results:
- Exit the current firmware update failure interface and try the firmware update again.
- Go to Device Information in the Even Realities app, tap Factory Reset, and then try updating the firmware again to check the results.
- Connect your phone to a different network and attempt the firmware update once more.
If the issue still persists, please provide the following information so that we can investigate further:
- The glasses serial number (SN).
- Upload logs from the app after the issue recurs while the device is connected to the app. How To Upload Logs
- The time when the issue occurred and the firmware update progress percentage at which the update failed.
