If G2 and R1 are connected in the app but R1 cannot control G2, follow these steps.
Update the app and device firmware. Make sure the Even Realities App and device firmware are updated to the latest versions.
-
Restart both devices.
Restart the glasses using one of these methods:
- Touchpads: Rapidly tap the touchpads on both temples five times. A prompt sound indicates that the glasses have restarted.
- Charging case: Place the glasses correctly in the case and connect the case to power. Rapidly unplug and reconnect the power cable to the case three times within 7 seconds. Alternating white and orange flashes indicate a successful restart.
To restart R1, connect the empty dock to power and wait for the indicator to turn on for 3 seconds and then turn off. Place R1 correctly on the dock, wait for another 3-second indicator cycle, then tap the ring’s touch area five times.
Check whether R1 can control G2.
-
Remove and re-pair both devices. Select Unpair & Remove for both devices in the Even Realities App. Forget both pairing records in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, then reconnect both devices to the app.
