If the app shows that G2 and R1 are disconnected and R1 cannot control the glasses, follow these steps.
Update the app and device firmware. Make sure the Even Realities App and device firmware are updated to the latest versions.
Reduce interference. If R1 was previously connected to another phone or pair of glasses, move it away from them and turn off Bluetooth on the previous phone. Keep your current ring, glasses, and phone nearby, then reconnect and check the result.
-
Adjust R1 settings. Turn off Low Power Mode for R1 and set the correct wearing hand under Hand selection. Check whether this resolves the issue.
-
Restart the glasses if the issue persists.
Restart the glasses using one of these methods:
- Touchpads: Rapidly tap the touchpads on both temples five times. A prompt sound indicates that the glasses have restarted.
- Charging case: Place the glasses correctly in the case and connect the case to power. Rapidly unplug and reconnect the power cable to the case three times within 7 seconds. Alternating white and orange flashes indicate a successful restart.
-
Remove and re-pair both devices. Select Unpair & Remove for both devices in the Even Realities App. Forget both pairing records in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, then reconnect both devices to the app.
