G2 Cannot Charge
Issue
Your G2 glasses cannot charge or the charging process fails.
Troubleshooting
Use a dry glasses cleaning cloth to wipe the metal charging contacts on both ends of the G2.
Remove the temple sleeves (if installed).
-
Check whether the G2 is placed correctly in the case. Ensure the nose pad bracket is not protruding; try taking the glasses out and reseating them.
Try using a different power source and charging cable (preferably the original cable or a standard phone charger).
Restart the glasses and try again.
How to restart the glasses
Option 1: Restart with the charging case (Recommended)
Put the glasses in the charging case and make sure the charging contacts are aligned properly.
Using a plugged-in/powered charging cable, plug and unplug it from the case 3 times quickly within 7 seconds. You will hear a beep sound indicating a successful restart.
Remove the glasses and try connecting again.
Option 2: Restart with touch controls
Double-tap the TouchPad to wake the glasses.
Quickly tap both temples 6 to 9 times. You will hear a beep sound indicating a successful restart.
Important: Both the left and right temples must be tapped. If only one side is tapped, the restart may not complete successfully.

Charging Case Indicator Stays Solid Orange
Issue
When placing the glasses in the charging case, the indicator light stays solid orange and does not turn off or behave normally.
Troubleshooting
Observe the indicator light behavior while the charging case is connected to a power cable.
Unplug the power cable and observe if the indicator light returns to normal behavior (turning on and then turning off).
Ensure the glasses are making good contact with the metal pins inside the case.
If the glasses can still connect, open the Even App home screen and check if the battery percentage actually increases while charging.
Restart the charging case: Using a plugged-in/powered charging cable, plug and unplug it from the case 3 times quickly within 7 seconds to see if it resets the light logic.
