Why is there a green glow visible on the front of the lenses?
This is a normal optical phenomenon. The green light visible from the front originates primarily from the diffractive grating design inside the waveguide. During use, a minimal amount of light is diffracted or reflected at specific angles, creating a visible dispersion.
Currently, almost all waveguide-based AR glasses on the market exhibit this type of light leakage or reflection to varying degrees. It is not a product defect, but rather a common characteristic of the current stage of waveguide technology.
During the design process, EVEN glasses have been specifically optimized to address this: the primary light leakage path from the front is directed downward at an angle, away from the standard line of sight. Therefore, when worn normally and looking straight ahead, the glow is typically imperceptible. This design ensures that your core visual experience remains undisturbed during use.
