If the firmware update on your R1 ring fails, please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot the issue:
Before troubleshooting, please ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The ring's battery level is above 50%.
- Your phone is connected to a stable network.
- The Even Realities app remains open in the foreground on your phone throughout the update process.
- The Even Realities app has been updated to the latest version.
Please follow the steps below to see if the ring firmware can be updated successfully:
- Exit the firmware update failure interface.
- Go to Device Information in the app, and tap Factory Reset to restore the ring to its factory settings.
- Try updating the firmware again and check the result.
If the issue still persists, please provide the following information so that we can investigate further:
- The ring's Bluetooth device name (EVEN R1_****).
- Upload the logs through the app while the ring is connected to the app and after the issue occurs. How To Upload Logs
- The time when the issue occurred and the firmware update progress percentage at which the update failed.
