Proper storage is key to protecting your glasses when not in use:
Use the Even G2 Case: Store your glasses in the provided Even G2 case, which serves the dual purpose of charging and protecting the glasses. This hard case shields them from impacts and scratches and ensures they are ready to use whenever you need them.
The charging case itself is not waterproof. When the internal metal contacts are exposed to water or moisture in the air, electrolysis or persistent current leakage/short circuits may occur. Electrolysis can cause a bluish-greenish-grey substance to build up around the pins.
If the metal contacts in the charging case (on one or both sides) short circuit due to moisture exposure, the indicator light will flash orange when the case is closed. In this situation, please use a dry glasses cloth to wipe away all moisture.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Keep your glasses away from extreme heat, such as in a car on a hot day or near heating elements. High temperatures can damage both the lenses and frames.
Safe Placement: If you don’t have the case available, place your glasses in a secure location with the lenses facing upwards to avoid contact with surfaces that could scratch them.
