Display Brightness Adjustment
You can adjust the display brightness of the glasses through the Brightness icon on the Even App home screen, as shown in the image below.
Manual adjustment supports the adjustment of brightness from levels 1–100, or you can enable Auto-Brightness, which automatically adjusts the display based on the surrounding light.
Since everyone's sensitivity to light may differ between their left and right eyes, Even G2 offers a Brightness Calibration feature. This allows you to fine-tune the brightness of each lens individually for the more comfortable and balanced viewing experience.
- Open the Even App and go to the [My Devices] page.
- Select your [Even G2] device.
- Locate and tap the [Brightness Calibration] option.
- You will see individual sliders for adjusting the brightness of the left and right lenses. Fine-tune the values based on your visual perception until the brightness perceived by both eyes feels comfortable and balanced.
Display Distance and Height Adjustment
To ensure you obtain the clearer and more comfortable visual experience, you can quickly adjust the display distance and height directly from the app home screen to match your personal visual preferences.
- Open the Even App and tap the [Display Adjustment] icon on the home screen to access the settings for Display Distance and Display Height.
- To adjust the display distance, simply tap [Near], [Mid], or [Far]. To adjust the display height, drag the slider on the right side up or down.
- During adjustment, all content on the display (including foreground information and background interfaces) will move together as a unified whole.
Imaging Distance Descriptions for Different Display Mettings (For Reference Only)
Please note that the specific perceived distance may vary due to individual physiological differences, especially interpupillary distance (IPD). This means the perceived imaging distance will not be exactly the same for everyone.
Preset | Foreground Layer (Reference Distance) | Background Layer (Reference Distance) |
|---|---|---|
Near | Approx. 1m | Approx. 2m |
Mid | Approx. 2m | Approx. 3m |
Far | Approx. 3m | Approx. 4m |
The distances listed above are statistical reference values based on an average interpupillary distance and are not absolutely precise for every individual. This is because each person's interpupillary distance (the distance between the centers of the pupils) is unique.
- The device's imaging system needs to align precisely with the center of your pupils. Your IPD determines the angular difference (parallax) between the images seen by each eye, which is a key cue your brain uses to calculate distance. If your IPD is significantly larger or smaller than the average, the perceived image distance will shift accordingly.
- This IPD-induced variation in perceived distance can be as much as 0.5m to 1.0m. This is a reflection of the highly individualized nature of the visual experience.
Note: Foreground elements (such as notifications) and background layers (such as the main interface) cannot be adjusted independently. Their positions remain fixed relative to each other and shift together during adjustment.
